In a sound bath, you will be immersed in the sound and the vibrations produced. It is a form of passive meditation where you simply receive the sound.Lie down comfortably on a mat or bed and cover yourself with a blanket. An eye mask can help deepen your relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat and optional eye coverings to enhance your experience.
Close your eyes and let the sound wash over you and fill your awareness. The complex and deep vibrations can help soothe your nervous system.
After the session is over, lie in stillness for a few minutes before slowly sitting up.
I use crystal singing bowls, weighted tuning forks, crystal singing pyramids, ocean drums, Native American-style flutes and other chimes during a sound bath.
