A Sound Journey for Ease, Connection, and Heart Resilience
About this Event

Resting in the Heart offers a gentle opportunity to slow down and allow the body to shift out of stress and into a state of ease and regulation. This experience invites you to rest deeply in a supportive environment where the nervous system can settle naturally.

Through the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls and grounding instruments, you’ll be guided into a state of deep relaxation where the body can soften and the mind can quiet. As the nervous system settles, many people experience a sense of ease, clarity, and emotional steadiness — qualities that support both heart health and overall resilience.

Research in neuroscience and physiology shows that sustained stress places ongoing demand on the nervous system and cardiovascular system, often leaving us feeling tense, overwhelmed, or fatigued. Practices that emphasize sensory safety, slow rhythms, and physical support help activate the parasympathetic nervous system — the body’s “rest and repair” response.
When the nervous system shifts into this regulated state:

  • Heart rate variability improves, supporting cardiovascular resilience
  • Stress hormones decrease, reducing strain on the heart and body
  • Emotional regulation becomes easier, supporting ease and calm
  • Muscular tension softens, allowing the body to recover and reset

Rest, in this sense, is not passive — it is physiologically restorative.
