EVENT INFORMATION:
A perfect combination of science and the healing arts: blending healing frequencies, and guided meditation to soothe your nervous system and help you experience deep healing and relaxation.
This experience combines meditation, sound therapy, and voice activation to help you regulate your nervous system and experience deeper alignment.
The power of music and healing frequencies are very potent to the human body; sound travels four times faster through water than through air, and our bodies are mostly made of water.
You will be guided through a meditative experience with healing instruments tuned to 432Hz - including crystal singing bowls, percussion rain drums, chimes, bamboo wind chimes, eastern chanting and a short guided meditation practice. This experience will transport you to a deep meditative state of consciousness allowing you to disconnect from your physical, mental, emotional, and habitual patterns and relax your nervous system.
BENEFITS:
• Release chronic stress and tension
• Increase sense of groundedness and wellbeing
• Improve symptoms of anxiety and depression
• Start your week connected, calm, and focused
WHO IS THE FACILITATOR?
My name isr, and I will be your guide :)
My formal education is in psychology, somatic exercises, reiki energy healing, early child development, education, music, music therapy and eastern chanting.
I have over fifteen years of teaching experience and a wealth of experiential knowledge and expertise in healing modalities. I also host mental health advocacy events for at risk communities here in LA.
By trade, I am an actress. You may recognize me from television, where I play the role of Angelica on Hulu's Good Trouble. You may also recognize my voice from some of your favorite video games.
My life's passion is to help people find their alignment.
Struggling with my own mental health and past trauma led me to the start of my own healing journey. I had been living my whole life, as many of us do, avoiding the painful traumas of my past. A series of unfortunate events, including an MS misdiagnosis, my father's death, and a divorce, finally led me down the path of healing.
I have experienced and trained in various modalities such as yoga, meditation, EMDR, TMS, conventional therapy, and various alternative medicines. My quest to heal led me to TRE, mindfulness practice, music therapy, a somatic therapy apprenticeship, reiki certifications, ayahuasca and psilocybin ceremonies, silent retreats, and becoming a Zen Buddhist.
I share my experiences and insights openly, offering workshops and curriculum that integrate multiple healing approaches and modalities such as sound healing, breathwork, somatic therapy, movement, meditation, and traditional mental health tools to empower people on their healing journey.
My teachings are rooted in research and science-backed modalities with strong supporting data. I am deeply spiritual, but I take a data driven approach to healing and mental health.
The classes I teach and facilitate serve as a safe sanctuary for you to return to regularly; and realign your mind, body and soul. A calm nervouse system and a sense of peace is our birthright.
My suffering has become my offering and gift to you. I look forward to meeting you and being of service.
