Sound Bath Meditation & Relaxation on Coochiemudlo Island
A perfect opportunity to recharge, unwind and restore.
Sabrina returns to the peaceful surrounds of Coochiemudlo Island to facilitate an immersive sound bath and deep relaxation on Sunday 23rd November, 9:00 - 10:30am.
Sabrina will guide you through a soothing experience using a beautiful selection of gentle sounds including quartz crystal sound bowls, percussion and chimes along with the grounding tones of the healing hand drum and her powerful voice.
This is a great opportunity to take some time out from your busy schedules, take a break from your to-do lists and truly unwind, untangle and leave your worries and stresses at the door. An opportunity to recharge!
The journey with sound can assist in creating a reconnection back to the subtle pace of nature, slowing our thoughts, bringing us into a calmative state and helping us to let go of any tension you may be holding in your body and mind.
Coochiemudlo Island Community Hall is perched on the cliffs overlooking the beautiful bay, surrounded by forest trees, birdlife and gentle breezes. This natural environment is a perfect accompaniment for this sound bath experience.
Sabrina's journey with sound:
Sabrina has been a singer and multi-instrumentalist for over 35 years. Her deeper connection with frequencies and her voice began to emerge at a very young age, singing in purely accapella groups when she was 12 years old, harmonising with other voices and feeling the power of shifting in and out of alignment with the notes and cadences between the octaves and the emotions and feelings that this evoked.
This fascination grew into a career in sound. Performing in many and varied musical groups, running musical events, producing music and composing with a range of different instruments. Sabrina has been a sound practitioner since 2020 and continues to study the science and art of healing with sound also offering one on one tailored sound therapy.
A serious injury many years ago and her subsequent recovery journey, led Sabrina down a path of using the power of sound on herself to heal and she has developed an intuitive style using varied instruments branching from the crystal sound bowls, percussion, healing drum and her powerful voice.
