Overview
Join us on Marina del Rey Beach for a special World Sound Healing Day gathering with Libby Balsiger of Beach Yoga Life and Reiki Sound Healer Grace Oh. Celebrated globally each February 14, this day invites people around the world to offer a “sonic valentine” of love and healing to the Earth through sound.
This gentle experience blends restorative yin yoga with a Reiki-infused sound bath, supporting deep relaxation, nervous system regulation and mindful presence. Through supportive poses and healing sounds, including singing bowls and chimes, we’ll attune the body, mind and spirit to the natural rhythms of the ocean and the collective energy of this day.
Open to all levels, this beach gathering is an invitation to slow down, set intentions and take part in a shared moment of harmony and resonance with voice. All are welcome. If you’re experiencing financial hardship, please come and donate what you can.
Step onto the sand, breathe with the waves, and let sound guide you into stillness and renewal.
Items to Bring:
- Layers of clothing and a hat
- Extra large towels and blankets
- Eye mask, cloth or small towel to cover your eyes
- Bottle of water and sunscreen
*Please give yourself time to find parking and arrive 15 minutes early to set up your nest.
Park near 3618 Pacific Ave (free) or in the Venice Pier parking lot (paid).
Walk to Fleet St. in Marina del Rey (see map) look for the tent with rainbow colors.
