We welcome you to join our beautiful sacred space of gentle, restoring Yin yoga and Sound Bath session. We will combine the deep, meditative practice of yin yoga with the healing frequencies of sound.
Yin Yoga is a slower paced, more meditative style of yoga. Yin Yoga involves surrendering into poses for longer periods of time to let go of tension stored in the body and to calm the nervous system. The postures are mainly floor based and are held for longer lengths of time, offering stillness whilst focusing on the breath. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues and helps to soften tight muscles, which allows the body to release tension and restore balance, connecting with your physical body and emotions.
A Sound bath is a deeply immersive, meditative experience, each of the sounds and instruments has its own unique vibration and influences inviting deep healing, gentle release and offers harmony to your body and energy. When you guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brainwaves to slow, shifting from a more active state, to a more
relaxed state, allowing you to sink into a deeper state of consciousness. When Yin Yoga and Sound Bath are combined, it creates a powerful, transformative experience that helps you to release stress, relax and gain perspective on what’s going on within. As you are guided through each restorative pose and settle into deep relaxation, you will be immersed in the soothing sounds of Tibetan and Crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks,
chimes and rattles.

Contraindications: please do not attend a sound bath if you are in the first trimester and last trimester of pregnancy. Do not attend if suffer from sound induced epilepsy; heart conditions; have an implanted heart pacemaker, stent or shunt; have a metal implant; deep vein thrombosis; if you suffer from mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar, or PTSD.
