What is Soulwalk?

'Open-minded, heart centred wellbeing walks designed to connect you to your inner nature.'

Soulwalk. Soulwalks are designed and structured to facilitates a more therapeutic and restorative experience whilst walking. In the process creating healthier and happier people and planet.

To connect with others in nature, Whatever age, whatever ability. Everyone is welcome. Come on your own or bring the family or friends. We care more HOW you are then who you are.

Soulwalk aims are to facilitate:

Better understand and compassion of ourselves and each other
Improved mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing
Deeper connection, appreciation and conservation of our natural world
A regular, consistent and reliable offering, either weekly, monthly or even quarterly that people can trust.

It's as simple as that. Pack for all weather, and join us from 11am for 3kms (or more). You can walk at whatever pace you want to. We'll simply start you off, and you can meander or stride out. Talk to friends. Not talk. However you're feeling. It's okay with us.

Soulwalk Richmond:

Join us at 11am outside the Hollyhock Cafe in Richmond, as we walk gently for 3kms (ish).

Please wear appropriate footwear. We'll walk for 2 hours or so. And for those who want to stay for coffee, then we often hang around afterwards.

Carmen and Andrew, will be waiting by the statue in front of the cafe. So please come and make yourself known to us.

Background:

In November 2019, Founder Carmen Rendell launched Soulwalk, to originally to support her quest to walk the British Isles coastline over a number of stages. With friends. With communities. With you. As you can imagine, the storms, and then a global pandemic halted the plan. Since then, Carmen and her partner Andrew Cuerden are based in Richmond and have launched Soulwalk Leaders, so others can organise their own Soulwalks around the UK.

Why Soulwalk? - To raise awareness of walking in nature for your physical and mental health, meet like-minded people and create a beautiful community across the UK.

Soulwalk is just one of the things we do here at Soulhub, the home of soulful connection. Carmen is a walking therapist. She started Soulwalks with a London series, hosted in London Parks, Bristol and was touched by those that came and made them happen. Andrew, is a dancer teacher, spirital coach who works locally, and loved to help others explore and understand their own personal journey.
