About this Event
The Diocese of Bristol, in partnership with The Foundation of St. Matthias, invites you to a FREE conference and competition launch event designed to engage and inspire those working across the FE sector in metal health and well-being, chaplaincy, personal development, SMSC, religious and worldviews education, pastoral care and related fields. The conference will focus on developing spirituality and wellbeing practices through participatory arts workshops.
Specific objectives:
- Gather chaplains from all faith traditions across Bristol and Bath and Wells Dioceses including students with a particular interest in this area.
- Address issues relating to positive mental wellbeing in Post 16 education.
- Inspire those working in this sector to engage creatively with issues of positive wellbeing and spirituality, particularly through the arts.
- Resource attendees through talks, discussion, and participative workshops.
- Provide space for reflection and sharing on good practice.
- Create opportunities to network and encourage collaboration.
- Enable positive interfaith encounters and working.
- Act as a launch pad for a creative competition where FE settings can win finding for a student-led creative arts and wellbeing project.

FREE to all those who work with 16-19s in the sphere of wellbeing, spirituality and personal development.
Also FREE for those working in the arts with 16-19s.
