SOULS OF THE TITANIC:A Ground-Breaking Art Series Premiere
April 14, 2026 | Downtown Conroe
Tickets available: https://www.soulsofthetitanic.com/event-details/souls-of-the-titanic
On the 114th anniversary of the night the RMS Titanic struck the iceberg, you are invited to an intimate, immersive evening of art, music, history, and remembrance.
Souls of the Titanic is not an exhibition you walk past. It’s an experience you step into.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Souls of the Titanic is a ground-breaking art series by artist Dirk Strangely, featuring twelve deeply researched portraits of real Titanic passengers whose lives were forever changed by the events of April 14, 1912.
Each painting blends historical research, emotional storytelling, and a new visual language that fuses portraiture, narrative, and memory into a single, unified work. These are not symbolic figures or imagined faces. They are real people, with real names, real lives, and real consequences.
During this premiere event, Dirk will unveil an entirely new genre of art he has founded, revealed publicly for the first time. Those in attendance will be the first audience to experience this new form, introduced in person by the artist himself.
THE EVENING EXPERIENCE
The event takes place inside a two-story historic building from the early 1900s in downtown Conroe. Its age and architecture quietly echo the Titanic’s era, while the interior has been thoughtfully modernized for comfort and flow.
Guests are welcomed upon arrival and guided to their reserved seating by ticket class: First Class, Second Class, or Third Class. They are then invited upstairs into an intimate gallery space.
There, the first five portraits from the Souls of the Titanic series are unveiled.
Dirk personally walks guests through each painting, sharing who each passenger was, how they were connected to the ship, how the night of April 14, 1912 altered their life, and what inspired the artistic approach behind each portrait.
Throughout the evening, a live string quartet performs music in the style of Wallace Hartley’s band, as it was played aboard the Titanic, alongside original compositions written by Dirk specifically for each portrait.
Guests also enjoy a three-course First Class dinner, recreated from the actual First Class menu served aboard the RMS Titanic on April 14, 1912. This allows guests to taste, hear, and feel what the final hours aboard the ship were like before the iceberg.
The evening unfolds in a relaxed, cinematic rhythm, allowing time to reflect, listen, and absorb.
A NOTE ON THE DINNER
This is not a menu inspired by the Titanic.
It is the First Class dinner menu that was served aboard the ship on April 14, 1912, faithfully recreated as a three-course experience. Guests may order the same menu items that were available that night, creating a rare and meaningful sensory connection to history.
LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTIBLE
The first 100 guests through the door will receive a limited-edition Souls of the Titanic series poster, marking their place as part of the earliest audience to witness this project.

WHY THIS NIGHT MATTERS
This evening is not about spectacle.
It’s about people.
It’s about memory.
And it’s about giving space to stories that are often reduced to numbers.
If you love the Titanic, not just the ship but the human stories behind it, this is an experience meant for you.
“It’s hard to explain a vision sometimes. Sometimes you simply have to see it.”
