Calling all young storytellers, poets, and dreamers!
This workshop is designed to ignite imagination, amplify voices, and help youth discover the art of storytelling through rhythm, emotion, and truth.
You can expect:
- Spoken word techniques from a Master Artist of the craft
- Hands-on writing exercises to spark creativity
- A safe space to express, connect, and grow
- Inspiration that lasts far beyond the page
- A tour of the Omenala Griot Museum's artifact collection
- A live performance by the Grammy-nominated spoken word collective, Westmoor Drive.
Whether you're new to writing or already filling notebooks, this workshop is your chance to learn from a legend and connect with other young creatives in your community!
