Toronto based ambient metal duo Northumbria was formed in 2011 by former Holoscene members Jim Field and Dorian Williamson.
Using only guitar and bass mega amplified and recorded live, Northumbria create a wall of improvised drones that take the listener on a sonic journey through a dystopian landscape.

Summoning mystical soundscapes, travelling between the planes of electroacoustic music, black metal, and doom metal. Started in 2019, Sol Miracula's approach roams from immersive sound to a lo-fi aesthetic while challenging the role of gesture and theatricality in performance, like the casting of a spell where time is distorted, in suspension.

Sublimatio Mortis is a deep exploration into the subtle pathways of the subconscious.
Through sound alchemy and highly ritualized use of overtone singing, the pilgrims on the path of inner contemplation weave sonic threads of resonance and vibration, reaching into the abyss of illumination.
