About this Event
Celebrate Black History Month with Marquette Dining Services by honoring the tradition of passing down recipes through generations. Guests will enjoy a brief presentation on the history of soul food before learning how to prepare a number of family recipes from our chefs. While highlighting Chef Marvin Hazley's award winning oven-baked rib recipe, guests will also participate in a hands-on demonstration learning to clean, roll, and cut fresh greens and mix cornbread batter. Come hungry and excited to learn about Black History through these amazing dishes.
