Honoring the founder's birth name, Nkenge, pronounced EN-KEN-GEE, which means Brilliant (Ghana), Nkenge's Gallery provides community access to African art, history, and culture through innovative African art exhibits, curated cultural events, and youth programming. Nkenge's Gallery has a collection of works of art spanning multiple tribes and countries across Africa, including masks, figures, and various objects. Nkenge's Gallery also leverages the power of technology to enhance participants' knowledge and experience of these culturally significant pieces. Youth and the arts are key components of its outreach. Nkenge's Gallery emphasizes the "T" and the "A" in STEAM by integrating African art, history, and technology through its youth curriculum.
