Get ready to roll with flavor at Above Average Candle Studio’s Soul Egg Roll Cooking Class — a deliciously hands-on experience inspired by our founder’s culinary roots. Perfect for a Thursday night out, a creative date night, or a flavorful girls’ night with a twist!Join us for a fun-filled evening where you’ll learn to make sweet and savory egg rolls stuffed with Southern soul cuisine — think mac & cheese, greens, peach cobbler, and more rolled up in crispy golden goodness. This workshop is all about flavor, creativity, and serious fun! A Little Back Story:Chef and AACS Founder Ogi Emiabata brings her home-cooking roots to life, drawing from her days running Cupcakes & Cornmuffins at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago and her features on Channel 26 The U and Food Network’s "Food Junkies" with Kelly Rizzo. Now, she's bringing that same soulful energy to the studio one egg roll at a time. You can check out her popular TikTok acct. @theniftyfiftyvegetarian - the fully displays her passion for food and for fun!- All supplies and ingredients-Learn step-by-step how to roll, fill, and fry your creations-A variety of Southern-inspired fillings — both sweet & savory-Vegetarian Options will be available-Music, Refreshments are included (Wine for 21+)-Activities + Good vibes-Enjoy your creations at the end of classHow Does This Work? - After Booking, we will contact you (via phone or email) with menu options. You will pick one savory option and one sweet dessert option. All food will be prepared at a commercial kitchen per City & State regulations by Ogi Merzier-Emiabata who is CFPM certified.
