Are you feeling stressed or heartache from just…life? We got you. Remember the joy of going out dancing? Combine that with the bliss of going within and you have Soul Dance!
Soul Dance, a free form ecstatic dance event, was attended by thousands for 19 years until it ended in 2020. Alisha Das Hayes, who led Soul Dance, will be guiding you. You’ll go in deep in the beginning moving meditation, be led into freely and gently moving until you find yourself naturally letting go and letting God. You’ll then find yourself magically dancing to uplifting dance tune. You’ll end by relaxing into pure bliss in the ending blessing.
Uplifting music-ranging from current dance music, world music, old school are spun by a former professional DJ interspersed with spiritual interludes and brief exercises to assist you to let go and experience God dancing you in a slowly moving meditation until you enter into the ecstasy of Spirit. NO dance experience even relevant! If you can wave your arms you can dance.
Your outer movement becomes a conduit to inner awareness so that your dance becomes a prayer done with body, mind, heart, and soul. Our venue is exquisite and the class safe, transcendental and love filled.
This is an act of love especially in this time of LA healing.
