The soul gravitates to powerful images that have meaning for you. You may not know why. But in the mysterious process of choosing and positioning images on your 5" by 8" card, the meaning of each card emerges through the very act of creating it and using it.
In Soul Collage, you combine dreams, imagination, personal symbols and your inner knowing to create a powerful deck of cards that taps into your inner genius.
The size of the cards is based on the golden mean, the ratio of 5 to 8, also known as Phi.
The Golden Mean produces a harmonic effect called eurythmy - harmonious proportion or movement, as in the composition of a poem, a painting or a statue.
The richness of the process originates from the deep reservoir of skills and abilities often lying dormant in our intellect-driven modern world. You choose from an array of images spread out before you. Images are then cut out and layered and combined in ways that create new meaning once they are assembled. Only you know what feels right.
As you work with the cards, through a set of questions you will ask the card once it is complete, you will find layers of meaning that grow and develop with each use.
Sometimes you will find hidden messages like buried treasure, waiting to be discovered in the same card you've been looking at for years.
All materials will be provided. Space is limited to only 12 people and no refunds will be given, however you may transfer your ticket.
