About this Event
Join us at Springwood Park for Soul Care in the Park, a special Juneteenth offering designed to ground the body, uplift the spirit, and honor liberation as a lived, embodied practice.
Held outdoors in the fresh air and natural beauty of the park, this experience invites the community to slow down, breathe deeply, move intentionally, and reconnect with ourselves and one another. Through guided breathwork, meditation, gentle yoga based movement, dancing, and moments of reflection, we create space to release, restore, and remember that caring for the Black body is not a luxury. It is resistance, reclamation, and a pathway toward true freedom.
As part of the day’s Juneteenth celebration, Soul Care in the Park offers a powerful way to begin, rooted in presence, joy, community, and care. Expect a soulful outdoor experience that weaves together stillness, rhythm, movement, and healing in a way that feels both grounding and liberating.
Come as you are. Breathe with us. Move with us. Be in community with us.
