S.O.T.S. lands at Astron on May 8th, bringing a heavy Italian presence to Athens for an 8-hour stretch of deep, experimental club music. Marco Maldarella heads up the night. His sound, a mix of high-definition IDM glitches and primal, post-tribe rhythms, is built for the late hours, leaning into the hypnotic, narrative-driven techno found on his recent Omen Wapta and Silent Logic releases.
He is joined by Stagno co-founder CP1. Operating at the intersection of modern psychedelic techno and tribe-infused music, his sets explore the outer edges of the genre through hypnotic pulses and raw, rolling rhythms. Whether through his work with Evolvere or his own productions, CP1 focuses on a sense of subterranean pressure and controlled intensity.
Opening the night, Socrates Antypas and DJ NOT I link up for a 4-hour b2b, setting the tone with a mix of raw, unpredictable energy and layered, spiraling electronics.
