About
Since 1994, R.O.C.K. has been deeply rooted in Visitacion Valley—a neighborhood in San Francisco’s District 10 that has been historically underserved and underrepresented. Vis Valley is faced with numerous socioeconomical challenges, including high poverty levels, violence, socialinjustice, and generational trauma.
R.O.C.K. provides positive, enriching programs and services to 900+ youth in grades TK-annually. Additionally, R.O.C.K. offers programs, workshops, and lots of engagement events for families and program alumni. R.O.C.K. is the lead nonprofit partner at all three public schools in Visitacion Valley (El Dorado Elementary School, Visitacion Valley Elementary School, and Visitacion Valley Middle School) and works to implement a true Community School Model at each site.
