Have YOU always wanted to "tell your story" and/or "find your voice" but not known where to start? OR maybe you started, but self-judgment got in the way and you stopped...Then JOIN US!!!
YOUR story and your voice are unique and important, because YOU are unique and important.
But our lives are not lived all at once, so our stories can't be told that way, either! So together, we'll practice breaking it down to manageable pieces.
Join Kristin Wright, published play-write working on her memoir, as she guides us through a curriculum donated by Ann Everett, published artist and author. There will be weekly writing exercises designed to help you tell your story - a piece at a time.
Building Skills, Nurturing Talent
Ann's techniques and Kristin's encouraging guidance will help participants work on language and grammar skills while fostering the innate talents of storytelling that we all carry.
There is no wrong story. There is no wrong way to tell it. And EVERYONE has a story to tell.
TIPS:
1. You do NOT have to have ANY writing experience!
2. We provide pens and paper, but if you have favorites, bring em!
3. While the classes do build on each other somewhat, you do NOT need to come every class in order. THIS SOS Class session runs from January through mid-May and we will begin the class lessons over about half way through. Each lesson has benefit to be completed multiple times. SO, come when you can!
