About this Event
The Art of Counterpoint & Romantic Melody features works by Bach, Brahms, and Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 2, performed by Christine Choi, Katie Youn, and Shinae Kim. This program highlights a musical lineage—Bach’s contrapuntal mastery, revived and championed by Mendelssohn, and later embraced and transformed by Brahms—revealing how each composer shaped the next.
