About this Event
If you are pregnant and looking for a Maternity Preparation Course that combines body and mind, this workshop is for you!
This introductory session will allow you to experience the benefits of Sophrology: a self-development method and practice that aims at harmonizing body and mind in order to bring or restore general well-being and inner balance.
Pregnancy causes both significant physiological and physical changes as well as strong emotional and psychological disruptions (fear of miscarriage, fear of not being a good mother, anxiety about childbirth’s pain…). Sophrology is a precious tool to feel better prepared for this initiatory and crucial event in a woman’s life.
What for?
This workshop will help you:
– let go of your tensions and stress, and feel calm and confident
– get in touch with your changing body through its new sensations
– connect with your baby through your body and your mind.
How?
We’ll use the following techniques:
– breathing exercises (sometimes combined with gentle movements)
– relaxation techniques
– visualisation and meditation techniques.
N.B: This workshop is open to all future moms, whatever stage of their pregnancy.
