In this classic British farce, two Oxford students want to propose to the loves of their lives before they are whisked away to Scotland. To arrange this meeting, they invite their sweethearts to meet Charley’s wealthy aunt from Brazil (“where the nuts come from”). But when the aunt’s arrival is delayed, the boys persuade their eccentric friend to don a dress and impersonate her—setting off a whirlwind of mistaken identities, romantic confusions, and hilariously tangled situations. Charley’s Aunt is a timeless crowd-pleaser that proves just how far friends will go for love.
