SAVE THE DATE: 30.08.26The ultimate celebration of street food, community and charity is back! Sophie’s Street Feast returns on Sunday 30th August 2026, promising an unmissable day filled with mouth-watering cuisine and vibrant entertainment from delicious local vendors and talented musicians. The event will once again take place from 11am to 5pm at Milton Keynes Discovery Centre.
Now entering its fourth year, Sophie’s Street Feast has established itself as a must-attend highlight of the local events calendar, drawing over 3,500 visitors in 2025. Since the first event in 2023, the event has raised over £10,000 for local causes. This year, alongside host partner charity Toybox, the event will also be supporting NutriTroops through the 5 On It Foundation.
NutriTroops is a free children’s health and well-being initiative that combines physical activity, nutrition education, and storytelling to help children build healthy habits for life. Using interactive games, story-driven challenges, community events, holiday camps and clubs, NutriTroops encourages children to move more, eat well, and understand how food and activity fuel their bodies and minds.
The 5 On It Foundation is a community organisation based in Milton Keynes, delivering free activities designed to create positive opportunities for young people using sport, creativity, and mentorship. Founded by Team GB Olympian Peter Bakare and local pro athletes Stacy Lloyd, Kai Williams, Nigel Lloyd and Jordan Spencer, the Foundation works with schools, councils, and community partners to deliver inclusive and accessible programmes that support confidence, teamwork, and positive life skills.
Together, NutriTroops and the 5 On It Foundation work to make health, movement, and learning fun and engaging for children and families across Milton Keynes and beyond.
Toybox, based in Bletchley, has over 30 years of international experience in positively changing the lives of vulnerable street children and families. Working alongside dedicated and experienced local partners, with a mission to end the global injustice of children living and working on the streets across the world. The organisation works to support marginalised children who are abused by those who should be protecting them. Toybox follows a child-centred approach that focuses on the child and then works to empower their families, communities, and society to change lives positively.
Every meal enjoyed at Sophie’s Street Feast will help support the work of these incredible charities.
