About this Event
Worldwide premiere of Succulent, the debut stand-up comedy special from Idaho native Sophie Hughes--filmed right here in Boise and released by international comedy label Howl & Roar Records. With more than 20 years in comedy, Hughes brings a sharp, honest, and hilarious perspective to stories about identity, resilience, and connection.
The evening will feature two screenings of the special at 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM at The Station (1212 W. Bannock Street, Boise), followed by an afterparty from 9:00–11:30 PM with music by Wren. Snacks, bar, and additional concessions will be available throughout the night.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for the Idaho Familias Assistance Fund, which provides direct financial assistance to Idaho families impacted by immigration enforcement—helping cover essentials like rent, groceries, childcare, and legal support. Your ticket helps us celebrate local comedy while contributing to an important community cause. Learn more about there work here: https://givebutter.com/ifaf
*This is the ONLY time the SUCCULENT film will be watchable in its entirety until we’re done selling our souls to SiriusXM. But don’t worry, you can pre-save the album here.
Come watch the special, celebrate Boise comedy, and stick around for the party!
