Welcome to the 2nd installment of Sooky Mozart!We are excited to be hosting Folk Night at the Ship on Wednesday, Sept 3rd and we are looking for musicians who would like to prepare and play some chamber music for us all!

Here is some info on what Sooky Mozart is:
Sooky Mozart is a nudge to prepare a short piece of chamber music over the course of the next few weeks to share in a low stakes way. It is also an excellent excuse to schedule a couple cozy dinner hangs/rehearsals and squawk through a duet or quartet in preparation for the show.
If you are feeling a bit shy or rusty or unsure, know that you are in good company and that it is part of the fun and vibe, hence “sooky” being in the name 😉
Instrumentation can be any configuration, woodwind quintet, string trio, piano and soloist, trumpet duet, oboe octets (please!), the sky is the limit! There will be a weighted keyboard. Ideally folks would present 5-10 mins of music, all types of classical/art music welcome (you do not have to play Mozart! ).
