On Sunday 8th March between 12-2pm, the Sonnet Wind Orchestra, conducted by Rupert Bond, will be performing a free concert at The Glades, Bromley BR1 1DN in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support with the usual mix of well-known marches, themes and new music written for the ensemble.Sonnet Wind Orchestra is an ensemble comprised of a pool of 30+ accomplished musicians giving their time for free performing in concerts and fundraising events across London and the South East. Venues include bandstands, churches, community halls and shopping centres. The ensemble has raised hundreds of pounds for worthy causes including the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, Guy’s Cancer Charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, Refuge, RNLI, London’s Air Ambulance as well as local charities.
