Steve Wilkinson
Steve Wilkinson’s career began in the early 1990s as the frontman for Portland’s Gravelpit, releasing multiple albums on Schizophonic and Rockadelic Records, including the critically acclaimed Snowglobe. He later formed Mission 5, touring the Northwest and Europe, and has since led projects including Wilkinson Blades and the Lunar Samples, while also performing regularly as a solo artist and in a duo. Across projects, his work continues to evolve while maintaining a distinct voice and sound. He has shared stages with artists such as Slash, Afghan Whigs, The Dandy Warhols, Everclear, and Mudhoney He is credited on more than 30 releases, including 10 full-length albums, and has also composed music for independent films and theater.
David E. Lane
David E. Lane is a recovering Tennesseean who stopped running at the West Coast ‘cause he’s a bad swimmer. He’s worked with producers like Al Kooper (Bob Dylan) and Nigel Olsson (Elton John) and played venues from Ryman Auditorium to The Whiskey a Go-Go and Viper Room. In addition to releasing several old-school Cali country rock albums, he’s contributed to some great Portland bands like Wilkinson Blades and Garden Flowers, as well as his own rockabilly outfit, Your Strange Companions.
Milo Binder
Singer-songwriter Milo Binder spent decades turning coffee houses, punk clubs, and poetry readings into his own living room, eventually opening for legends like The Indigo Girls, Donovan, Shawn Colvin, and even Soundgarden. His work drew attention from the LA Times, LA Weekly, NPR, and landed on notable compilations including Windham Hill’s Legacy and Rolling Stone’s Rare Trax, Volume 2. Signed to Alias Records, Binder released a critically acclaimed debut album in 1991 before stepping back from music to focus on family.
More than 30 years later, he returned in 2024 with a new album on Heyday Again Records, again earning raves, with Americana Highways calling him (we can only assume while heavily caffeinated) ‘one of the great American solo artists of the past half-century.’
