Rose Parker
Rose is an acclaimed award winning, singer/songwriter and guitarist who draws from folk, gospel, blues and alternative country.
In 2018, Parker released her long-awaited solo album Under the Same Sun, a collection of west coast inspired tunes, reflecting her love of wide-open roads, childhood wheatbelt towns, family bonds and breakages, and the journeys we all take as humans sharing the same planet. Produced by David Hyams (Miles to Go Band) and engineered by Lee Buddle (Crank Studio), a smorgasbord of beautiful musicians including David Hyams, Lucky Oceans, Phoebe Corke, Roy Martinez, Dave Mann and Mel Robinson contributed to this dreamy, sun-drenched, 1970s road-trip of an album.
She recently won Song of the year at the Australian Songwriters Association awards.
Her voice will melt your heart and fill your soul.
David Hyams
David is a Musician, Singer / Songwriter, Producer.
Based in Fremantle WA, David is known nationally for his work
as a producer, songwriter, composer and instrumentalist.
Since 1999 he has released 3 albums under his own name and
performed across a wide range of genres from folk, rock and blues to country. His ‘Miles to Go’ band became an Australian festival favourite, with numerous national tours and 8 nominations for “Best World Music Act” at the WA Music Industry awards.
In 2020 he was guitarist for the international award winning
Fringe show “Little Death Club”.
His fourth studio album is due for release in 2026, with national touring for his own band to follow. The stories behind the songs are a feature of his performances, from celebrations of the WA landscape, to experiences working in remote
communities, and with inmates of maximum security prisons.
Davids songs come from the heart and will touch yours too.
Steve Hensby
Steve Hensby Band are splitting at the seams with an assault to the musical senses with elements of funk, soul, ska, world, a sprinkle of psychedelia and a dash of folk. The 9-piece ensemble is regular in the WA festival circuit and features a healthy sized horn section. It has been said that they are very danceable!
Steve Hensby is a Berklee College of Music graduate and West Australian Music Industry award winning musician who also works as a session player in the Perth area. He has played with the likes of Jackson Browne, Tim Minchin, John Cleary, Steve Poltz, Randy Feltface, WASO, Perth Symphony Orchestra and Taasha Cootes.
Steve will be performing solo for this event, his stories are second to none ....Anything could happen !!!!!!!
