“Songs of the Earth” е камерна музикална среща, вдъхновена от легендарния дуетен албум на Ron Carter & Richard Galliano (1991).В този проект Илко Градев (акордеон) и Веселин Веселинов – Еко (контрабас) събират мелодии и песни от цял свят – Бразилия, Аржентина, Испания, Франция, Перу, Азербайджан и Япония – представени в оригинални аранжименти и свободни импровизации.
Музиката се движи между традиция и съвременно усещане, между познатото и неочакваното. В много от моментите тя отвежда както музикантите, така и слушателите на места, които не могат да бъдат предварително планирани – само изживени.

Songs of the Earth is an intimate musical encounter inspired by the legendary duo album by Ron Carter & Richard Galliano (1991).
In this project, Ilko Gradev (accordion) and Vesselin Vesselinov – EKO (double bass) bring together melodies and songs from around the world — Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, Peru, Azerbaijan and Japan — presented through original arrangements and spontaneous improvisations.
The music moves between tradition and a contemporary sensibility, between the familiar and the unexpected. At many moments it takes both the musicians and the listeners to places that cannot be planned in advance — only experienced.
