We’re delighted to return to St Mary’s Church, Beverley, with a special concert from the Tallis Choral Foundation.Songs of the British Isles brings together a small, outstanding group of singers for an evening of unaccompanied choral music - intimate, expressive, and beautifully crafted.
The programme moves from the clarity of Thomas Tallis and Robert Parsons, through the rich harmonies of Charles Villiers Stanford and William Harris, to the folk-inspired writing of Ralph Vaughan Williams and Gustav Holst.
With handpicked singers from the ensemble, this is a rare chance to hear this repertoire performed with clarity, precision, and real intimacy in one of Beverley’s most beautiful spaces.
