An award- winning international women's choir will perform beautiful a cappella arrangements of meditative songs by Sri Chinmoy.About this Event
After the concert, each audience member will have a chance to add their own wishes for peace as they hold the Peace Torch, to be carried hand to hand on a 10,000-mile Peace Run relay through all 50 States, honoring America's ideals on its 250th anniversary.
Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) was a yoga philosopher, composer, poet and artist who felt that peace begins inside each of us and can be shared through diverse avenues like the arts and athletics.
