About this Event
This will be a poetic concert program inspired by the works of Robert Desnos and music by Gabriel Fauré, Claude Debussy, and Francis Poulenc. The production integrates choral performance, poetry, and visual storytelling to create an immersive artistic experience.
Performed by the award-winning Concert Choir group of Campanella Children’s Choir, this program explores the poetic world of childhood through a refined and expressive musical lens. Featuring choral works, solos, trios, and small ensembles, the concert highlights the artistry and versatility of the choir’s most advanced singers, joined by guest instrumentalists including violin, bass, guitar, and more.
Playful, imaginative settings of poems by Robert Desnos are paired with the lyrical elegance of art songs by Gabriel Fauré, alongside choral works by Claude Debussy and Francis Poulenc. Moving from light, whimsical moments to introspective and dreamlike soundscapes, the program offers a rich and nuanced journey from day to night.
