On this special occasion the Ruined Theatre brings you hits from the movies sung by west end talent.

Come and relax in the atmospheric ruins of Lesnes Abbey and be transported through the ages of film through top musical hits.

We will be bringing you top songs from your favourite films from Funny Girl to Cabaret to Dirty Dancing. This is an afternoon for everyone to relish the celebration of some of our best movie musicals through the ages and soak up the last of the summer evenings.

Our cast has over 100 years of experience between them and includes Changing Ends star Nancy Sullivan (credits include Eponine in Les Miserables, Eliza in My Fair Lady, Little Voice in Little Voice and many more), Gary Watson (Strictly Ballroom), Jenna Boyd (Come From Away) and Connor Sheridan (Scrooge).

We invite you to bring a blanket & picnic and maybe even a bottle of wine to soak up the beautiful surroundings and enjoy the final days of summer.

This is a sit down open air concert & aimed at an adult audience suitable for those 7 and over. We invite you to bring a blanket/fold up chair to sit on, please note that no seating is provided.

Running Time: 2 hours (including a 20 minute interval)

All proceeds from this event are going to the Ruined Theatre, a non profit organisation to bring theatre and employment within the arts opportunities to Abbey Wood, having recently loss funding.

The Ruined Theatre has been bringing theatre to Lesnes Abbey Ruins for the last 4 years with the aim of enriching the lives of those living in Abbey Wood and the surrounding areas through theatre and with your support hopes to continue to do so.

T&C & WEATHER POLICY

NO REFUNDS

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or returned unless the performance is cancelled.

Tickets will not be refunded in the case of illness (including Covid-19), in line with government regulations.

In the event of The Ruined Theatre cancelling a show, your ticket will be refunded. If the show is cancelled we will endeavour to notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

WEATHER POLICY

The Ruined Theatre is completely open-air. In the event of adverse weather, The Ruined Theatre reserves the right to postpone the show for up to an hour from the advertised start time. Shows will proceed in all weather, rain and shine, and will only be cancelled in the event that the management deem the weather to pose a health and safety risk to the performers.

Audience are welcome to bring umbrellas to this performance to mitigate heat or rain.
