Local music lovers are in for a treat with Songs for the Soul, a heartwarming fundraising concert in aid of a Stroud-based charity.The event will bring together two vibrant community choirs – Whiteshill and Ruscombe Community Choir and The Wednesdays Singing Group from Cheltenham, and promises an uplifting evening of music, harmony and hope in the acoustic setting of St Laurence Church, Stroud.
Songs for the Soul is being performed on Friday, 20th March at 7:30pm, and organised by choir leaders, Louise Johnson and Luc Bailey. It’s a collaboration of shared voices for a shared purpose: The Door Youth Project. Tickets are £10 (free to under-11s and carers) and available from The Door shop, High Street, Stroud, the choirs, thedoor.org.uk/songs, or on the door. All proceeds will go to The Door, supporting its vital work with young people in the Stroud and North Cotswold areas.
