About this Event
Songs and Stories from the Street will feature performances by the Alamo City Street Choir alongside guest artists from across the San Antonio music community.
Through song, storytelling, and guest artists from the local music community, this special concert celebrates resilience, creativity, and the human stories that connect us all.
This special concert will also feature guest performances by Michelle Garibay-Carey, San Antonio’s Voice of Soul; Mike Bjella, international recording artist and saxophonist; Lindsay Selli, vocalist in opera and cantata; and poet Melinda Pineda.
We are also honored to welcome poetry readings by Ron Nirenberg, longtime advocate for the arts and community.
Founded in 2019 through the San Antonio Chamber Choir, and rehearsing weekly at Travis Park United Methodist Church, the Alamo City Street Choir has grown into a vibrant musical community where every voice matters.
Suggested Donation at the door: $10
