Songlines & Seasons: A Journey Through Djaara TimeExperience the beauty of Djaara seasonal knowledge through the Songlines & Seasons Exhibition at DUMAWUL, from 8 November 2025 to 27 March 2026.
This stunning exhibition takes you through the six seasons of Dja Dja Wurrung Country - from Barramal (Emu) and Milakuk (Lightning) Time, through Murna (Yam Daisy) and Ngerri (Black Duck) Time, to Giranal (Perch) and Wirrap (Cod) Time.
It’s a time to think of giyakiki (story, yarns) and gunga (to do, to work, to create, to make something).
