About this Event
Join us for a heartening and enlivening community gathering! Foster love and courage on behalf of all life, through song and practices from The Work that Reconnects. (For any unfamiliar with the WTR, please follow the link, which provides a beautiful and succinct summary!)
Together we will weave call and response song into each phase of the Spiral of The Work that Reconnects - voicing our gratitude, honoring our pain, seeing with new and ancient eyes, and going forth.
This is a gathering for anyone who is living through the polycrises of our times and would benefit from a supportive environment where our grief, anger, immobility, emptiness, fear, and love for this world can be honored and moved through song and group practice.
We will share mindfulness practices, dialogue, ecotherapeutic prompts, and time with the land , which will be steeped with intentional ritual and call us back to true belonging.
Light, nourishing refreshments will be provided.
During this special gathering we will co-create a space to:
- Build relationship with Earth and all life
- Ground and emplace us
- Invite us to explore what we love, as an anchor
- Harness the resonant power of song
- Cultivate community
- Instill empowerment and solidarity
You’ll emerge with a deeper sense of connection, tenderness, and a renewed commitment to action and purpose.
Guided by Kara London, LMFT, Ecotherapist, Mindfulness Practitioner, and Song Leader
