Join Elise Divine + Kid Beyond in an evening of heart opening song medicine! Heartful, joyful community songs and vocal improvisation. No singing experience necessary, open and accessible to all.

SONGS OF PLAY!
Rejoice in summer with an evening of vibrant play filled songs to encourage and uplift your spirits.
We'll sing easy-to-learn songs (community singing) and make up new songs on the spot (a la Circle Singing style). Plus a special beatboxing lesson from Kid Beyond!
Bring a friend or two for this uplifting gathering!
Activate and free your voice. Everyone can sing! This song circle is for all voice levels of singers and non-singers. The space of community singing is not for us to "sing perfectly" — but rather to welcome in every voice to sing together in the service of opening our hearts.
Singing together heals. It brings in a sense of oneness, bliss, and belonging. And realigns us with the joy + connection with ourselves and others that is our true human nature. It's also just plain fun :)
All voice levels welcome. Easy-to-learn songs taught through listening (call + response/oral tradition). No prior experience needed, no vocal training needed. Anyone with a voice can come and learn to sing songs with us. Check out this playlist to get a sense of the songs shared here.
Items to bring: bottled water, open heart, and willingness to sing :)

NOTE: Please arrive by 7pm. Enter through the side doors on Turk Blvd. We will close the doors shortly thereafter for the integrity of our container.

Elise Divine is a song carrier, community builder, and co-leader of Song Circle Magic in San Francisco. Her mission is to anchor joy, belonging, and togetherness in humanity through the healing medicine of song. She weaves in wisdom from her songleading teachers Phoenix Song, Lisa Littlebird, Reya Manna, and more. She loves organizing magical musical gatherings, and regularly sings in prayerful/ceremonial spaces - and wherever else song is asked to be!
Kid Beyond is a singer, songwriter, songleader, beatboxer, activist, and Buddhist teacher of heartfulness and mindfulness. He offers music as medicine - a joyful, playful, soulful, powerful alchemy of expression, connection, inspiration, and healing. He's played Coachella, Treasure Island, SXSW, Lightning in a Bottle... shared stages wtih Imogen Heap, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Will.I.Am, James Brown, Ray Charles, the Neville Brothers... and many more.
