Fall edition, nothing quite like it! Come for an extra special celebration this month. Last month we disscussed self-care and inner-trust. This month we will explore focus on flow, creativity and pleasure.

We honor and celebrate bio-individuality, community, and movement. Whether you want to check it out once or attend monthly, you are welcome to be part of this special experience. Topics build on each other but we fill you in so you never feel like you missed anything. You can choose to attend one or all.

What is Sonder?

Sonder means the realization that each person you meet has a life as complex as your own and this is the essence of our approach to well-being. Our event will feature a mix of light workouts, yoga, journaling, and discussions, all set to music with delicious food from local vendors. Jessenia "Jess" Acuna, LCSW has partnered with MVMNT, and in this initial session, Jess and Natalie Addison will explore how mindfulness and movement can help improve self-love and confidence (in and outside of the gym).

Whether you're into fitness or just looking to connect with others, this is a great way to unwind and meet like-minded people. This is not just another wellness event or fitness class. Come be part of a supportive community that values health, well-being, and making meaningful connections. So mark your calendar and let's make some memories together!

What to expect?

 • low-moderate intensity workout
 • mini yoga flow and breathwork
 • journaling and reflection
 • connection with others interested in mental and physical wellbeing
 • delicious bites, cool drinks, and giveaways—all while the beats keep you moving

Why register for this workshop?

 • learn effective mind-body practices for every day life
 • learn how to increase self-trust, discipline, and consistency
 • integrate mindfulness into your workouts to optimize results
 • practice interoception and increase self-efficacy
 • explore mechanics of breathing and how can emotions can create tension
 • create lighthearted connections and community

Every second Sunday of the month we will bring a new topic that is relatable and relevant to special holidays, celebrations, and community happenings.

About the hosts

Jessenia Acuna, LCSW, RYT, CIMHP is a pscyhotherapist in private practice, certified integrative mental health professional, and yoga educator. She also offers somatic and life coaching to help people reconnect to their body and life in a meaningful way. With over 10 years of practice in wellness, social work, and mental health, Jess is passionate about holistic practices for healing and building a fulfilling life. She has worked in many roles with children in the foster care system, undocumented children and families, and college students in New York City and Shanghai, as well as taught english to underserved communities in Thailand, directed substance use programs, and conducted research with women victims of domestic violence in the Philippines. Her deep understanding of how wellness practices helps heal the mind and body is based on experiential work and ongoing education. Now she focuses on working with high performance professionals, social entrepreneurs, and community leaders balancing busy schedules, high impact roles, and personal care. She finds purpose in continuing to grow, making genuine connections and offering more opportunities for healing and human optimization.

Natalie Addison, co-owner of MVMNT lives a life of pursuing what she loves. Movement has always been the root of her passions and she loves sharing it. Natalie is a former professional dancer and started her performance career at 18 years old. Her dance resume filled with countless cruise ship, theater, casino and entertainment contract work for over 12 years. Through dance she fell in love with other modalities of movement. She now has rooted deep in the fitness, mobility and yoga industry here in West Palm Beach, FL. She is incredibly versatile in teaching all styles of movement classes. As a full time personal trainer, she holds various certifications and works with clients to move their best. On top of personal training, Natalie expands her offerings through programs to people in need, in schools, with athletes, with law enforcement and by creating more events within the community. She has found purpose in guiding others towards living a more mindful life and believes that movement is a must.

Our essence

Consider this homecoming but for your mind and body. We are all capable of connecting to your body in a way that no matter where you go, you feel connected, welcomed and accepted. We aim to empower creative leaders, parents, fitness enthusiasts, dancers, entrepreneurs, and trailblazers to take actions that elevate their health and wellbeing in community. Our collaboration was an organic and complimentary one where we get to share our passions with you! We are here to create value and wellness that sticks, not just a quick or temporary fix.

We integrate the latest neuroscience, exercise, and performance research to help you get moving, into your body & out of your head. Our integrative approach offers:

 • Safety: a space to explore what it feels like to be in your body when you move
 • Activation: guidance to help with activation when exercising and how to use your breath to support movement
 • Reflection: prompts and discussion for deeper inner exploration
 • Action: practice and help you integrate science based tools for every day life
 • Connection: tune into your needs and reconnect to your ability to show up consistently through mindful goal setting
 • Structure: set daily habits that can turn a stressful day into a day of growth and purpose

You can also expect to learn how to bring lightness into a stressful or fast paced life, one where you can slow down internally and optimize your energy. It's a way of living with more ease, intention and purpose. We aim to help you develop mindset tools to find balance through life’s biggest struggles. Get ready to explore topics like perfectionism, anxiety, imposter syndrome, motherhood, relationships, identity, self-care, body image and many more.
