Kia ora.'Son Of God' - Doco Screening. 39min run time.

'Son Of God' is an autobiographical film of sorts, looking at a time in Grant's life battling with a glitch in the mental matrix.
Dealing with psychosis and ending up locked up in solitary confinement in maximum security prison in the USA at a young age.
It's also a pointed look at the possible adverse effects of mind altering pharmaceutical drugs. It delves into the underfunded and failing state of the mental health system in Aotearoa, whilst mental health issues are on the rise.
But also... it's (hopefully) a story about hope, perseverance and optimism in the face of adversity.
Our short film Son Of God was recently officially selected by the 'New Zealand Independent Film Festival' and got an award nomination in the short film category.
