August 27 is going to be a special one.We’re honored to welcome Rochester blues legend Joe Beard to the Son House Blues Night at the Record Archive.
Joe is the real deal. A master bluesman with decades of history behind him, he carries the sound and spirit of traditional electric blues like very few artists still can. His influence on the Rochester blues scene runs deep, and sharing the stage with him is always both humbling and inspiring.
This will be a night of deep grooves, hard-earned stories, and blues played from the soul outward.
The Revs and I will kick things off before turning it over to Joe for an evening of timeless blues music in the Backroom Lounge.
