SOMETIME IN FEBRUARY
Carolina’s based Sometime in February started as the instrumental solo project for guitarist/songwriter musician Tristan Auman. He recorded the debut EP “Here Goes” with several studio musicians before bringing on drummer Scott Barber and bassist Morgan Johnson as permanent members. As a group, they craft their own unique texture of progressive rock and metal by combining pieces of post-rock and math-rock, as well as their past and contemporary influences such as Intervals, Haken, and Dream Theater. After the release of their debut LP “There Goes” in 2023 and playing shows up and down the east coast in 2024, Tristan, Morgan, and Scott have solidified themselves as a cohesive unit live and in the studio.
In February 2024 the band announced their signing to legendary prog label InsideOut Music with the release of the single "Hiding Place." In July 2024 the band joined forces with Paul Waggoner, Dan Briggs, Eric Guenther, and Rich Castillo on their second release with InsideOut, "The Bad Fight." The band recorded a new album with Jamie King in summer 2024, and after several pre-release singles ("Outside In", "Palantir", "Phantom Sea"), their new album "Where Mountains Hide" was released March 21, 2025 via InsideOut Music.
CELARIS
Raleigh, NC’s Celaris was forged from the meeting of musical minds Rachel Pappalardo (guitarist) and Joshua Rush (drums) in the Spring of 2018. Influenced by various predecessors within and outside of their genre, Celaris continuously challenges the limits of progressive metal, incorporating technical, soaring riffs, catchy and impassioned vocal melodies, and infectious grooves into the fabric of their works.
Celaris has shared bills with major acts such as Thornhill, Strawberry Girls, Rings of Saturn, Moodring, ENOX, standards, and Tang (among many others) and is currently at work on their sophomore album. Their debut album, “In Hiding”, is currently out on all streaming platforms as is their single, "Out of Phase", both produced by the legendary Jamie King.
MOURNING LOTUS
Mourning Lotus is a four-piece metal band from North Carolina. Zack Craig (vocals), Jared Williammee (guitar and vocals), Jameson Harris (drums and vocals) and Mason Cobb (bass guitar).
