US alternative-pop artist sombr will make his headline debut in Australia and New Zealand this December.
Shane Boose, better known as sombr, began his musical journey in a makeshift bedroom studio. At just 16, he wrote, produced, and released the breakout hit 'Caroline'-a track that quickly became a sad-girl anthem and went viral online. Since its 2022 release, 'Caroline' has amassed over 45 million streams on Spotify.
Since then, sombr has continued to build momentum, releasing a steady stream of singles and EPs. Today, he boasts more than 28 million monthly listeners. Tracks like 'would've been you', 'do I ever cross your mind', 'back to friends', and his latest single 'undressed' have solidified his indie-rock credentials-'back to friends' and 'undressed' have both been certified Gold in Australia and currently sit in the ARIA singles chart Top 10.
sombr also recently collaborated with 2025 BRIT nominee Rachel Chinouriri-who's fresh off supporting Sabrina Carpenter's tour-on a remix of her hit 'All I Ever Asked'.
It's a rise that feels nothing short of generational. With an instinctive ear for melody and an appetite for sonic exploration, sombr has already proven his staying power.
