A three-part journey through the 12 Stages of Healing—reconnecting breath, body, and the innate intelligence within.
This recurring Somato-Respiratory Integration (SRI) series led by Dr. Emma & Dr. Brandon is designed to guide you through the full spectrum of the 12 Stages of Healing, a powerful map created by Dr. Donald Epstein to support the natural rhythms of growth, release, and integration.
Each session builds upon the last—yet stands alone as a meaningful experience. Whether you're processing emotional residue, shifting lifelong patterns, or cultivating deeper embodiment, these evenings are here to support your journey.
We’ll use breath, gentle touch, focused awareness, and intentional rest to meet the energies of each stage—ranging from stuckness and confusion to awakening, compassion, and inner coherence. These are practices you’ll not only experience in the room, but learn to carry into your daily life.
Expect deep support, clear guidance, and the space to feel what’s ready to be felt. Here are the stages we will cycle through:
The 12 Stages of Healing (Somato-Respiratory Integration by Dr. Donald Epstein)
Stage 1: Suffering Feeling disconnected, stuck, or powerless — awareness that something’s wrong.
Stage 2: Polarities & Rhythms Noticing contrasts (tension/relaxation, right/wrong) and recognizing internal conflict.
Stage 3: Stuck in a Perspective Awareness of repetitive patterns or stories that keep energy bound.
Stage 4: Reclaiming Our Power Taking ownership of energy and choosing response over reaction.
Stage 5: Merging with the Illusion Compassionately embracing previously resisted or shadow parts.
Stage 6: Preparation for Resolution Tension builds as readiness emerges for a shift; coherence is forming.
Stage 7: Resolution Discharge of bound energy — emotional or physical release leading to relief.
Stage 8: Emptiness (Beyond the Personal) A still, spacious awareness beyond identity or story.
Stage 9: Light Beyond the Form Sensing the body as energy, light, and threads of interconnectedness.
Stage 10: Ascent Living from connection to a higher field of love, joy, and unity.
Stage 11: Descent Bringing expanded awareness back into grounded, embodied daily life.
Stage 12: Community Fully engaging with and co-creating in collective connection.

- Feb 18, 2026 – Stages 1–4 (Suffering → Reclaiming Power)
- March 18, 2026 – Stages 5–8 (Merging → Emptiness)
- April 15, 2026 – Stages 9–12 (Light → Community)
Bring a yoga mat, journal, and anything cozy to help you settle in. Doors open at 6:15 PM. Class begins at 6:30.
