Somatic Women's Circle Open House

Have you been looking for a consistent circle of women to connect with? Have you been curious about exploring the embodiment of the feminine within you?

Join us for an open house evening to discover the Somatic Women's Circle hosted by Meagan Connley of Presence With Love. We invite you to come meet with the facilitator and current group members, feel into the space at The Center for Healing and Integration, and sense into what it might be like to regularly join our intimate circle of women.

This open house event gives you the opportunity to experience what a circle gathering is like, to ask questions about what it might be like to join us each month, and to provide your input on what a supportive circle might look and feel like for you. We are welcoming a few new members into our circle and offer this open house evening as a way to get to know if this circle is a fit for you (or not, no pressure).

This is a donation-based circle (suggested $10/$15/$20 scale, via Cash or Venmo), though for this open house I am collecting a fee here to support the container and commitment to show up. We meet once a month on the first Wednesday (some adjustments for holidays and travel) from 6:30-8pm. This circle is not therapy, though it is therapeutic and operated from a trauma-responsive somatic lens.

In circle, we slow down and come into our bodies, feel into our hearts and our truth. We honor our bodies, show up presently and authentically, and allow the reciprocity of giving and receiving support. We hold space for healing to occur in circle and to ripple out into the world. We are exploring deep, tender, big, and sometimes uncomfortable topics that we hold together with compassion and witnessing. We also welcome our expressions of play, love and joy. We typically explore somatic practices, journaled reflection prompts, group sharing, sometimes singing, sometimes movement...whatever we feel coming through, and you get to participate in the way that feels aligned for you.

I wonder if you take a moment, notice your breath, in and out, and pause. What do you notice inside with the idea of joining? What comes up inside you with the thought of exploring a commitment to yourself and the group?

There might be many things arising - excitement, nervousness, curiosity, hope, or something else. If it feels aligned, we look forward to being present with you at this open house, and in circle.

-Dress comfortably, we welcome you as you are

-If you join our circle, you do not have to commit to attending each month, we understand the flow of life

-This is not a religious circle, and not necessarily a spiritual circle either, though sometimes we might feel connected to the Divine through the somatic explorations and the feelings of support available in this space - we welcome and respect all beliefs
