Cult hit event Solve-Along-A-M**der-She-Wrote comes to Blackpool with an interactive screening of the classic M**der, She Wrote episode, ‘Paint Me a M**der’.
Jessica Fletcher is invited to the remote island hideaway of an artist friend (played by Cesar Romero), but soon there’s a M**der that only she can solve - and now it’s your turn!
Hosted by super-fan Tim Benzie, Solve-Along-A-M**der-She-Wrote is a unique and hilarious night featuring games, prizes and audience participation. It features:
- A race to solve to the crime, via the Fameometer and the Suspiciometer
- A Cabot Cove quiz
- A singalong to the theme tune with new lyrics
- Clips and biogs of the campy guest stars
Rated by Time Out as one of 2021 & 2019’s 50 Great Nights Out in London, Solve-Along has played to sell-out audiences across the UK, Ireland, the USA and Australia.

Tim Benzie is obsessed with M**der, She Wrote, having watched the original series when it was first broadcast, and now relishing the repeats on television everywhere.
An award-winning playwright and co-writer of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s 2017-2024 pantos, including the Offie (Off West End) Award-Winning ‘Tossed’ in 2023. He is the co-producer of the camp club night PopHorror.

Blackpool Film Festival is a project of local community arts organisation, Aunty Social. Since 2014, this independent, town-wide festival has delivered a range of film experiences and artist-led events to venues across the local area. Blackpool Film Festival is a volunteer-led organisation, which works to provide a platform for cinema programmed and co-produced with the artists and creative communities of the Fylde Coast.
