As we approach the winter solstice, we enter the shortest day of the year and the true beginning of winter. During this season of darkness and stillness, it's easy to retreat inward and seek comfort in our homes. Yet, the quieter months can also bring up emotions, both in response to the change in seasons and the holiday hustle.
Join us for a nourishing morning of introspection and healing, where we'll guide you through practices to help you process the emotions that arise during this time of year. Through the calming practices of Yoga Nidra, the healing power of sound, and the reflective art of journaling, you'll be supported in connecting with your inner world, releasing what no longer serves you, and setting intentions for the season ahead.
Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, centered, and renewed.
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a deeply restful and meditative practice that guides you into a state of conscious relaxation. Similarly, a sound bath is a soothing experience where participants are immersed with sounds and vibrations. Yoga Nidra combined with a sound bath encourages relaxation and can help with emotional release, balance, and clarity.

Yoga mats, boulsters, and blankets will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. You will want to be as cozy as possible so bring whatever feels right for you to achieve this!
About your Facilitators:
Mars was introduced to Yoga Nidra in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the practice. After struggling with poor sleep and a constant over active mind, one of her teachers invited her to a Yoga Nidra class, which became a turning point in her life. Yoga Nidra helped Mars find relief from anxiety, improve her sleep, and she gained yet another tool for managing daily stress. Inspired by the profound impact of this practice, Mars pursued her Yoga Nidra certification in 2023, driven by a desire to share this calming and restorative practice. Today, she guides others toward deep relaxation and self-healing, offering a supportive space to unwind and restore balance.
