☀️ Escape into the wild for a summer solstice adventure. We will watch the sunset go down and celebrate the longest day before the shortest night begins.🌕 This year the Full Moon will rise on the same night.
We will meet up at the bowling green end of Peel promenade (furthest from the Castle) before we walk over for our secret beach (20 minutes )
🔥 There will be some seating, shelter, fire, music and dancing. We are very happy to have some guests musicians join us on this special evening - The Fecktones, together with Virgil and Luna, who will also lead some circle dancing after the concert.
🥾 Please wear sturdy footwear, warm clothing and bring your own drinks/snacks as well. If you have a light seat you could bring that too. We encourage you to bring a piece of wood to burn as an offering to the sun.
This will be an easy walk, but does involve a short steep section and a little bit of uneven ground. We will help everyone get there safely.
