The Barony of Loch Salann welcomes all to the close of another calendar year. Please come and join us in the revelry of the season as we celebrate the Barony of Loch Salann! All good gentles are invited to come gather at a new location to better suit our needs and take in the wonderful surroundings. In addition to dancing, games and a special holiday visitor for the young of souls, we have more activities this year! This year we have several fun and unique elements for Solstice:
The investiture of our next Baronage and the subsequent handing off of the coronets.
Please join us as we witness the stepping down of their Excellencies Raven and Sajah, thank them for their fine stewardship of the largest barony of the Kingdom, and welcome in the next baronage to care for this group.
An Arts and Science Display
Artisans -- show off your talents at the Solstice Artisan's Display for the Court Baronage. What did you make? Allow us to "Ooh and Aah" at your prowess! Dazel our eyes with the works of your hand. (no documentation required). Her Excellency Casamira, Court Baroness, challenges every other Court Baron and Baroness to observe these fine arts and science displays, and give a gift to your favorite entrant! Can't decide, bring more than 1 prize!
Solstice Annual Cribbage Tournament
It would feel incomplete if we held Solstice without having the return of the annual Cribbage tourney, this year hosted by last year’s champion His Excellency Dunkr Ormstunga.
Solstice 2nd Annual Chess Tournament
With the precedent set last year we will have our second Annual Chess Tournament hosted by Master Gage of Loch Salann.
Show Your Prowess “Martial Manuals Trivia Competition”
Think you know your rule books? What materials are a rivet allowed to be made of for Armored Combat Helm construction? What gauge of Brass vs Stainless Steel can be used for a Rapier Helm? What is the minimum height for a Crest in Equestrian Crested combat? How far should the safety zone be behind a Target shoot if no backstop is present? Prizes to be awarded…
